A – Detailed instructions for registration process are as follows-
- Visit the following website and fill the online application form SSI registration by following instruction given in the form.
- Validate your details and pay SSI registration fees to complete registration.
- An executive from authority will process your application and will validate detaild provided by you including documents.
- Once your application for SSI certificate is approved. You would received certificate online on email id provided by you.
Q – What are the fields to be filled in registration form for SSI registration certificate?
A – SSI registration form consists of following fields that have to be filled by applicant-
- Name of the unit
- Address for communication
- Type of organization like proprietorship, partnership or corporates etc.
- Nature of activity
- Investment in fixed assets
- Investment in plants and machinery
- Power load
In addition to above list, authority also requires details like email id, mobile number, date of commencement of business, Bank account details, IFSC code etc.
Q – What is the upper limit of investment for registration under SSI?
A – Maximum limit for registartion under SSI registration is set to be Rs 1 Crore.
Q – Will i get hard copy of certificate?
A – No, you will not get hard copy of certificate. You need to download cerrtificate from website and print it manually.
Q – Can a unit be de registered from SSI registration?
A – Yes, A unit can be deregistered under following circumstances-
- Firm is no longer under prescribed investment limit for plant and machinery.
- It starts manufacturing other items apart from for which it was granted license.
- It is owned or controlled by any other industrial undertaking.
